Doctors must report monkeypox cases; Explosion in Amsterdam's Nieuw-West

Police have cordoned off an area in Amsterdam’s Nieuw-West district after an explosion damaged several houses early Sunday morning. No one was injured, Het Parool reports.

Twenty people were injured when a farm trailer overturned behind a tractor in the Overijssel town of Losser. Four people had to be taken to hospital by ambulance and the rest went to the hospital or the general practitioner, according to the police.

The Yellow House (The Street) by Vincent van Gogh can be seen from Tuesday onwards in the building formerly linked to the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam. The work is part of the series of masterpieces “Dutch Heritage Amsterdam,” which was created after the museum on the Amstel severed ties with the Russian state museum Hermitage because of the war in Ukraine.

The Cabinet must tackle discrimination and racism more quickly, members of parliament agreed this week. A large part of the Tweede Kamer believes that it is taking too long for the Cabinet to put concrete measures in place in areas where situations often deteriorate, such as in the labor market, education, the housing sector, and the police force.
